Shang Gao Won Gold and Totally 7 Medals In 7th International Chinese Martial Arts Championships
Shang Gao, master of Chinese Martial Arts, has been practicing Chinese Martial Arts for more than 23 years and he is highly accomplished in several different styles of Chinese Martial Arts.

At the beginning of this month (July 1-3, 2005), Master Gao participated in an international championship held in Orlando, FL, the Seventh Annual International Chinese Martial Arts Championship, along with more than 1100 other Kung Fu masters and competitors from the entire world, including mainland and Taiwan of China. In this annual world-class Chinese Martial Arts tournament, he won gold and 7 medals in total: one gold medal in Ba-Ji competition; three silver medals in Tai-Chi Sword, Tai-Chi Broadsword and Traditional WuShu Weapon competitions; and three bronze medals in Tai-Chi 24, Tai-Chi 42 and Traditional WuShu competitions. His 7-medal winning is a very excellent but rare case in this and previous championships because he did very well in all internal, external, barehand, long and short weapon competitions. Grandmaster Li, DeYin, world known Tai-Chi Quan and Wu-Dang Sword master, gave him highly evaluation regarding his achievements.

Master Gao is a senior coach and now teaching Chinese Martial Arts in metro St. Louis area. He opened his first O'Fallon, MO-based Chinese Martial Arts school, Shang Wu Chinese Kung Fu Association (www.shang-wu.com), in October, 2004. He plans to open more schools in mid-west USA to demonstrate, teach and promote good and original Chinese Martial Arts persistently because he likes to see all Chinese Martial Arts practicers benefit spiritually and physically from their daily exercise. Their health will definitely improve to a higher level. Chinese Martial Arts originates in China and belongs to the whole world.
